Who we are
This website is operated by Bahri Ozmen, trading as Ozmen Cement Rendering, ABN 77 064 724 290, based in Wollongong NSW 2502 and servicing the Illawarra, the South Coast and Sydney.
We are a rendering business, not a data business. Everything below exists because a quote request has to reach us somehow, and because we would rather write down exactly what happens to your details than leave you guessing.
What we collect
Through the enquiry forms on this site we collect only the fields you fill in:
- Your name.
- Your email address.
- Your phone number, if you choose to give one. It is optional.
- The contents of your message, which is usually a description of the job.
The form also records some technical information automatically at the moment you submit it: your IP address, your browser’s user agent string, the page you were on when you submitted, and how you arrived at the site. This is used to tell real enquiries apart from automated spam, and to know which parts of the site are producing genuine work.
We do not ask for and do not want payment details, government identifiers, health information, or anything else sensitive. Please do not send those through the form.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies of its own.
If you submit a form, Google reCAPTCHA runs on that page to check the submission was made by a person rather than a script. reCAPTCHA is a Google service and it collects device and browsing information in order to do that. Google’s own privacy policy governs that collection.
Where analytics are enabled on this site, they are used only to count visits and see which pages are read. Analytics are never used to build a profile of you or to target advertising.
How we use what you send
- To answer your enquiry and to quote your job.
- To contact you about that job while it is being quoted or carried out.
- To keep a record of work quoted and work done.
We do not send marketing emails, we do not run a newsletter, and we do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone for their own marketing.
Who else sees it
Your enquiry passes through a small number of service providers in order to reach us:
- Cloudflare, which hosts this website and serves it to your browser.
- SendGrid, which delivers the enquiry to our inbox as an email.
- Google reCAPTCHA, which checks the submission is not automated.
Each of these only handles your details in order to deliver the enquiry. We do not give anyone else access.
Some of these providers operate servers outside Australia, which means your enquiry may be processed overseas in the course of reaching us.
How it is stored and for how long
Enquiries are stored in an access-controlled database attached to this website so that no genuine enquiry is lost if an email fails to send, and they are also delivered to our email inbox.
We keep enquiries for as long as they are useful for quoting, carrying out and standing behind the work, and then we delete them. If you want yours removed sooner, ask.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Ring us on 0467 498 137 and we will sort it out. We will not charge you for asking.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
